The Story Behind Abe
The Abe the Adventurer series was created by Josh Guerrero, an archaeologist, educator, Marine Corps veteran, and lifelong adventurer. Josh created Abe to honor a dear friend, and fellow Marine, who sadly passed away.
With a background in elementary education and field archaeology, Josh wants to help kids see the world with curiosity, courage, and wonder. Each book is designed to encourage young readers to ask questions, explore new places, and believe that they can do hard things.

Josh Guerrero is an archaeologist, adventurer, educator, Marine Corps veteran, and host of The All-Around Adventure Podcast. He created the Abe the Adventurer series to help kids explore the world through exciting stories filled with curiosity, courage, and discovery.
Through Abe’s adventures, Josh hopes to inspire young readers to ask questions, learn about the world, and become adventurers in their own way.
