Episode 49 – Growing Through Challenging Travels with Kristen Czudak

In this episode, I’m joined by Kristen Czudak, creator and author of the travel blog Yonderlust Ramblings.

I was looking forward to talking with Kristen because, like me, she enjoys active travels. Going to different places to go hiking, or running, or seeking out some other form of challenge. Or as she likes to call them; “hikecations” and “runcations”!

This passion for active travels began when she completed a half marathon in San Francisco. Since then she’s covered quite a bit of ground to seek out other challenges and reach personal goals. Some of which were in places like Yellowstone National Park, Iceland, and the Great Wall of China.

In this episode, Kristen tells us about some of her active adventures and what she’s learned along the way. She also tells a very riveting story about the time she went to the summit of Kings Peak in Utah. A tale like this one has not been told on the podcast yet. We also discuss why you should seek out challenges in your life, how you gain a new perspective when you break out of your comfort zone, and why you should “embrace the suck”!
