When I was growing up I used to play video games a lot! I remember starting with the regular Nintendo and playing games like Super Mario Brothers, The Legend of Zelda, Double Dragon, and Mega Man, just to name a few. As I got older, technology began to change. Next, I was playing the Super Nintendo, then the Nintendo 64, then PlayStation and XBox came along. Now there’s been several generations of each of those two systems. I played many different genres along the way as well. I liked playing fighting games, survival-horror, first-person shooters, and role-playing games (RPGs).
Many of the games that I played, especially RPGs, involved playing a character that started out at a low level. And who I made stronger the further I got into the game. By the end of the game, the character that I played was so strong that he could defeat any enemy in the game with ease. Which was cool and all, but looking back on it with a mindset for personal development. All of that time that I spent playing those games and leveling up those fictional characters, really didn’t do anything to level up myself.
Now things have changed and I now commit more time to level up myself and my own character. To do this there are three key things that I do. In this episode, I speak from the heart and share these with you. And offer up some tips as to how you can implement them so that you can also level up your own character!
